About

More Than Bread

Knead Not Want Bakery was built on a simple belief:

Some foods are more than something you eat—they're a moment of comfort, celebration, and connection.

Every loaf is handcrafted in small batches because I believe quality should never be rushed.

Why the Name?

The name Knead Not Want is a play on words.

When something is truly delicious, it becomes more than something you want—it feels like something you need. That's the feeling I hope every loaf brings to your table.

It also celebrates the craft of kneading dough, because every recipe starts with care before it ever reaches the oven.

How It All Started

Ironically, this bakery didn't begin as a business.

It started with Christmas gifts.

Friends and family loved the bread so much that I began taking a few preorders. Before long, those handful of orders turned into something much bigger.

The following year, life presented an opportunity to turn a hobby into something more. I opened my first pre-order list, and what started as a handful of orders quickly grew into the foundation of Knead Not Want Bakery.

Today

Today I develop every recipe, bake every loaf, package every order, and personally serve every customer.

I'm incredibly proud that my recipes have earned multiple awards at the Oklahoma State Fair, but what matters most to me is hearing that my bread became part of someone's family dinner, holiday gathering, or favorite Saturday morning.

Looking Ahead

Knead Not Want Bakery is still growing.

My goal is simple:

To continue creating handcrafted baked goods that customers come back for again and again while expanding into local retailers and reaching more families throughout Oklahoma.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
